FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to feeding birds. The method is based on that, immunostimulants in form of an organic selenium preparation, together with an inorganic selenium preparation, are added during the later periods of feeding birds in the first five days of their life, in rations of 0.2 mg per kg of combined feed on active substance. The selenium preparations are added together in ratio of the organic form to the inorganic form of 1:1. The inorganic form is sodium selenite and the organic form is Sel-Plex. In the rest of the feeding period, the complete dose of sodium selenite is added to the broiler feed.
EFFECT: invention increases broiler output.
