FIELD: mechanics, heating.

SUBSTANCE: inlet air humidification is effected by drawing in the air from the room that passes above the surface water in the pan to get humidified and, then, mixed with the inlet air passing the air humidifier to increase its moisture content. A confuser appliance creating rarefaction between its edge and casing provides for air drawing-in. The proposed air humidifier operation, i.e. humidification and flows rate of air coming into the room, is controlled by automatic control pickups, controllers, actuators, control flap valve (air flow rate) and tapered gate valve that opens or closes the channel allowing humidified air to pass into the proposed device and to get mixed up with inlet air.
