FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the technology of tobacco refuse processing. The method of producing reconstituted tobacco is implemented as follows: wild marigold flowers are extracted with liquid carbon dioxide and their miscella is separated. The tobacco material is mixed with liquid carbon dioxide and undergoes extraction. Then the tobacco material is shredded by relieving periodically the pressure in the extraction mixture below the pressure of carbon dioxide moist steam at extraction temperature. Its miscella and meal are thereafter separated. The obtained miscellas are joined together. The meal is suspended in an aqueous solution of an edible acid. An edible polyatomic alcohol is introduced into the suspension. The suspension is formed, dried to a residual humidity of 13-15%, cut, treated with the miscellas mixture by raising simultaneously the pressure, then relieving the pressure to atmospheric one by freezing simultaneously the soaked up carbon dioxide and the latter undergoes sublimation to obtain a target product in the residue.

EFFECT: improved organoleptical properties of the reconstituted tobacco and shortened duration of the technological process.
