UNIVERSAL CHAMBER FOR INTRODUCING OR RECEIVING CLEANING ELEMENTS FOR PIPELINE CLEANING Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B08B9/57

Abstract RU 2353440 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oil and gas industry and can be implemented for introducing and receiving cleaning elements. The chamber consists of a case made in form of a pipe section creating a linking-up chamber designed to connect ends of the chamber to the cleaned pipeline, of two pipe-bends from the linking-up chamber arranged one above another and connected to the chamber; the pipe-bends present a chamber-capacity for cleaning elements, and of a branch. A disk valve is installed in the chamber-capacity and the branch; the disk valve consists of a seat and a piston with a rod; the seat of the valve is arranged in the said chamber-capacity in the zone of its entry to the linking-up chamber to disconnect the latter with the chamber-capacity; the piston with the rod is assembled in the branch and is designed to perform translational displacements till interaction with the seat of the chamber-capacity, while a free end of the rod is connected to the facility of its displacement. The linking-up chamber is equipped with a cleaning elements movement limiter. Also the chamber-capacity for cleaning elements is made in form of an elbow pipe-bend, angle of tilt of which relative to transverse axis of the linking-up chamber is approximately 30-80°, while the linking-up chamber is equipped from ends with flanges with stops facilitating connection to the pipeline and allowing regulation of space arrangement of the chamber-capacity and the branch along a circular trajectory around the lengthwise axis of the linking-up chamber.

EFFECT: invention facilitates increased efficiency and reduced labour intensiveness.
