FIELD: engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to engineering industry, and can be used in engine building, and namely in internal combustion engine (ICE) lubrication system. Oil filter consists of a casing, filtering element installed with one of its end surfaces on the casing cover thus forming purified and crude oil cavities, cover with inlet and central outlet holes, safety and drain valves, and distribution header with a chamber. According to invention, distribution header consists of tubes the inlet ends of which are connected to inlet holes made in the casing cover, and outlet ends with purified oil cavity cover with safety valve and the chamber formed by purified oil cavity cover, upper end surface of filtering element and drain valve supported on the casing bottom and filtering element end surface.
EFFECT: simplifying design and manufacturability of oil filter, as well as eliminating crude oil penetration from filtration chamber into the engine under any temperature conditions.
