SUBSTANCE: method for authentication of user data processing terminal (USERa, USERb) provides this terminal with access to selected services provided by data processing system. The invention includes performing the first, based on subscriber identification module (SIM), authentication of user data processing terminal in authentication server of data processing in data processing system by means of functional associating with user data processing terminal of the first subscriber identification module (SIM) given to user of data processing terminal. Result of user data processing terminal authentication in data processing system is determined by the second authentication on the basis of identification information presented to user on mobile communication terminal over mobile communication network, for instance as short message service (SMS) message.
