FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: according to the invention, the device consists of a rod with helical groove and cutting tail piece, broach bit and shank to fix it in a unit ensuring rotational movement of the tool. Part of the rod adjoining the broach bit is made thick with a diametre exceeding cutting tail piece diametre but being less than the largest broach bit diametre. The thickened part of the rod forms additional cutting part, and cutting tail piece is made from hard-alloy materials.
EFFECT: wide area of application and increased machining efficiency due to use of tools for connecting items made from materials with different elastic properties.
