FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to automotive industry, namely to headrests for seats preventing driver or passenger injury on getting bump from behind. The proposed seat headrest comprises fasteners passing through the support carcass lower part, the carcass being jointed to facing, and a damping body with lining. Note here that headrest carcass incorporates a transfer-and-lock mechanism, while the fasteners represent L-like posts with thrust washers attached to their ends to contact with lining. In compliance with the headrest second version, the said L-like posts feature an elbow bend to the right or left. In compliance with the third versions, the bend of L-like posts features a C-like shape. Note that in compliance with the said versions, the transfer-and-lock mechanism comprises transfer-and-lock control push buttons consecutively arranged to interact with each other, adjusting and locating levers. Note also that the lining, in lengthwise direction, features a horseshoes-like recess.
EFFECT: safe and simple design, repairability and ease of replacement of parts.
