SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of magnetic recording. Device for the quality control of magnetic carriers contains series-connected multi-track block magnetic recording-playback, block of the playback amplifier and the block of the threshold elements, and also a recorder. In the device are included series-connected multiinput adder unit, whose inputs are connected to the output of the threshold elements, and two-input subtracter. One input of the subtracter is connected to the output of the adder unit directly, and the other input - through the delay device. Output of the subtracter is connected to the input of the recorder, and the block of the threshold elements is made from the adjusting input.
EFFECT: increase in the resolution, accuracy and productivity of quality control of the magnetic carriers.
