FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention considers clamping unit for separating and clamping sleeve-like packages filled with packed materials. The clamping unit is provided with at least two pairs of displacing elements being arranged in radial opposition and axially distanced from each other with regard to packing sleeve axis. The said displacing elements are connected by linear guide and intended for local pinching of the filled up package by forming sleeve end so that the above mentioned elements can move linearly towards each other and then move in pairs in axial direction from each other. The clamping devices 1 and 2 are located so that they can rotate. In addition both clamping devices are intended for pinning and closing of at least one clamp around the formed sleeve end between axially separated from each other pairs of displacing elements so that they can move in radial direction towards each other. Radial direction of displacing element pair movement coincides, mainly with radial direction of clamping elements movement.
EFFECT: clamping unit as disclosed by this invention, ensures reliable and simple process of clamping.
