SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electric radio engineering, in particular to "carousel" antenna (resembles carousel), which comprises single curtain closed in circumference. This curtain is formed by four pairs of rhomboid sections. Inside curtain there is reflector vertically installed. Reflector represents cylinder. Cylinder is made of vertical conductors. Cylinder conductors are parallel to each other. Cylinder radius is less than curtain radius by (0.15-0.27)λav., where λav. is average length of wave. Antenna functions as peculiar phased array with four-sided direction. Antenna has circular diagram of direction in horizontal plane.
EFFECT: increased coefficient of antenna amplification during narrowing of directional diagram in vertical plane.
