SUBSTANCE: method of reconstituted tobacco obtaining involves extracting East Indies basil with liquid carbon dioxide and separating a respective miscella, mixing up the tobacco material with non-polar liquefied gas, extracting and shredding the material while relieving the pressure periodically in the extraction mixture below the extractant moist steam pressure at extraction temperature. Then miscella and oil meal are separated, corresponding extract is separated from miscella, the oil meal is slurred in the water solution of acid salt of edible polybasic acid, edible polyatomic alcohol is introduced in the liquor. The liquor is formed, dried till residual humidity of 13-15%, cut and steeped in gas-liquid tobacco extract and separated CO₂ miscella with simultaneous pressure increase, depressurising to atmospheric pressure with simultaneous freezing of soaked carbon dioxide and its distillation is carried out to obtain in the remnant the target product.

EFFECT: shortening the duration of technological process and obtaining reconstituted tobacco with improved organoleptical properties.
