FIELD: chemistry, engineering process.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to rubber industry, to production of elastic and wear resistant rubber based on butadiene-nitrile rubber. The rubber mixture contains the following, in wt.pts: butadiene-nitrile rubber - 18 with content of acrylonitrile - 17-23 wt % - 100, sulphur - 2.45-2.65, captax - 1.45-1.55, zinc oxide - 2.4-2.6, technical carbon "П803" - 1.4-1.6, thermal expanded graphite - 8-12.
EFFECT: improved elasticity and reduced bulk wear during abrasion, with significant reduction of content of technical carbon, which increases sealing ability and operational life of sealing devices, used in mobile friction assemblies.
