SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of construction, namely to units for connection of different diametre pipes. Unit for connection of different diametre pipes includes ends of pipes inserted one into another, ring welded into pipe of larger diametre and connection parts fixed to pipes by welding. Connection parts are arranged in the form of plates with cut, which fixes position of smaller diametre pipe relative to larger diametre pipe. Formulas are described for calculation of connection part parametres.

EFFECT: reduced labour-intensiveness of connection manufacturing and increased strength due to transfer of effort from smaller diametre pipe to larger diametre pipe through connection parts.
