SUBSTANCE: invention relates to absorbent product such as diaper, protective wear in case of incontinence, sanitary towel. The product consists of an upper liquid permeable covering sheet, a lower liquid impermeable covering sheet and an absorbent body placed between the covering sheets. The upper covering sheet together with the padded material under it form a laminate which comprises at least one through slot at least in the back part; the slot forms a respective opening for the organism wastes to pass through the slot. The slot is fitted by strengthening zones which form a prominent zone on the product surface together with the elastic impact of the padded material. The invention relates also to the method of manufacturing such product. The invention allows for the production of an absorbent product where in particular excrements are transferred to the absorbent body through the said slots and are retained in the padded material underneath. This prevents excrement leakage.

EFFECT: higher comfortability for the user is achieved as well.
