FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention deals with design of a sprayer or shower device and a shower insert. The proposed sprayer or shower device featuring heat recuperation consists of the following elements: a cold and hot water mixer connected to at least a single sprayer head, a line for supply of cold water to the sprayer head mixer, a line for supply of hot water to the sprayer head mixer, a basin for collection of water sprayed through the sprayer head, at least a single heat exchanger element positioned under the basin to provide for transfer of heat from the sprayed water collected inside the basin to the cold water supply line for cold water pre-heating. The heat exchanger element contains a metal sheet whose cross-section profile is basically that of a rectangular wave containing alternating vertical and horizontal panels. Water having been sprayed through the shower head flows across one side of the metal sheet with cold water supply line water to be pre-heated flowing across the other side. Additionally there is an insert described to find application in shower installations featuring no heat exchange to provide for the above device construction.
EFFECT: development of a heat exchanger device and/or insert cost-efficient to manufacture and having a thin heat exchanger sheet characterised by considerable area of heat exchanger surface and capable of withstanding downwards applied loads.
