SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to methods of giving out articles chosen by a user and can be used in automatic machines and semi-automatic machines for selling flat articles with the same shape. The method employs an automatic machine the case of which is a container for the articles, made from elastic material. The articles are staked close to each other inside the case and are held in the container by not less than one plate made from elastic material, on the radius of which there is a cut such that, an aperture is formed by the cut is lower than the height of the article or package of the article. The plate can rotate about an axis. The article is given out through rotation of the plate around its axis not less than one complete turn in the direction for which the plate with the cut catches and separates the article, lying at the bottom of the stake from the rest of the stake.

EFFECT: easier giving out of articles to a user in any quantity through a vending machine, providing for a large quantity of articles filling the vending machine.
