SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to automation, particularly to remote control of industrial processes. A two-conductor process transmitter (12) for use in controlling an industrial process (10) contains a communication circuit (82) on HART protocol and a communication circuit (86) on Fieldbus protocol for joining a two-conductor circuit (18) for controlling the process. The first pair of electrical leads (52) provides for connection of communication circuit (82) on HART protocol with the two-conductor circuit (18) for controlling the process in the first configuration, and the second pair of electrical leads (54) provides for connection of communication circuit (86) on Fieldbus protocol with the two-conductor circuit (18) for controlling the process in an alternative second configuration.
EFFECT: more functional capabilities of the device.
