PRODUCTION METHOD OF RECONSTITUTED TOBACCO Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A24B3/14 

FIELD: food industry, tobacco.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of tobacco offals recycling. Method provides for extraction of black locust flowers by liquid carbon dioxide with corresponding miscella separation, mixing of tobacco material and non-polar liquified gas, its extraction and mincing along with periodic depressurisation of extraction mixture below extragent saturated vapours pressure at extraction temperature, partition of miscella and extraction cake, extraction cake suspending in water solution of edible acid, introduction of potable polyatomic alcohol to suspension, its forming, drying till residual humidity 13-15%, cutting, impregnation with gas-liquid extract of tobacco and separated CO₂-miscella with simultaneous pressure boost, depressurisation till atmosphere pressure with simultaneous freezing of absorbed carbon dioxide and its subliming with obtaining of end product.

EFFECT: decrease of process technology duration and obtaining of reconstituted tobacco with improved organoleptical properties.
