FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to introscopy and can be used in non-destructive inspection for detecting different electrophysical irregularities in different concealment environments, as well as searching for metal objects in given media. The device contains series connected double frequency generator, eddy current converter with exciting and signal windings, first unit of selecting quadrature components X1,Y1 of the voltage vector, brought into eddy current converter for the first excitation frequency, microprocessor and indicator. The device also contains a second unit for selecting quadrature components X2,Y2 of the voltage vector, brought into the eddy current converter for the second excitation frequency, both outputs of which are connected to the corresponding pair of signal inputs of the microprocessor. The double frequency generator is also provided with a second output for the second excitation frequency. The eddy current converter also has a second input connected to the second output of the double frequency generator, as well as a second signal output, connected to the input of the second unit for selecting quadrature components.
EFFECT: improvement of operational characteristics of the device and, as a result, reliability and information content of results of its use.
