FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: pyrotechnic composition for obtaining of didecyldimethylammonium halogenide aerosol contains didecyldimethylammonium halogenide or its clathrate with urea as active substance and the thermic composition providing the sublimation of the active substance during combustion. The invention refers also to the fume-forming pyrotechnic article, to the method for disinfection and/or disinfection of the objects as well as to the method for protection of the objects from biological damage at storage.
EFFECT: efficient disinfection and disinfection, protection of the objects from biological damage at storage together with low consumption of the active substance and low aerosol toxicity.
