FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermally stable composition of antifreeze cooler, which includes water and glycol in weight ratio equal from approximately 95:5 to approximately 5:95, respectively, and including from approximately 0.01 wt % to approximately 5.0 wt %, at least, one additive, selected from group consisting of 3-hydroxybenzoic acid, 2,3-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 2,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 2,6-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid, 2,4,6-trihydroxybenzoic acid, isocitric acid, acetylsalicylic acid and alkaline salts of said acids. Claimed invention also relates to method of glycol stability improvement, as well as to method of obtaining improved antifreeze composition of cooler, which include application of composition described above.
EFFECT: increasing stability of antifreeze glycol-based compositions at high temperature.
