FIELD: physics; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for non-destructive inspection of elemental composition of samples using X-ray fluorescence method. The multi-channel X-ray spectrometre contains an X-ray source, sample holder and X-ray spectral channels around the axis of symmetry, each of which comprises an entrance slit, a crystal on a substrate, an exit slit and an X-ray detector. The base of each channel is in form of two plates, cut out in an arc, the median lines of which correspond to a focal circle. The channels have a side rake and can overlap in the vertical projection.
EFFECT: wider registered spectrum, as well as more accurate determination of concentration.
