SUBSTANCE: invention relates to clock making industry and is aimed at widening the assortment of equipment. The outcome is achieved due to that, in the method of making the said face, the body of the mark of the face is formed by an outer bushing or holder with an outer surface, guide track and an end-to-end cavity, an inner bushing or holder with a guide track and end-to-end cavity, and small balls or rollers. The inner bushing or holder is put into the end-to-end cavity of the outer bushing or holder coaxially, with formation of a coaxial cavity. Guide tracks are situated opposite each other. The outer bushing or holder and the inner bushing or holder are movably attached to each other by the small balls or rollers, which are put into the coaxial cavity and on the guide tracks. At least the outer bushing or holder can rotate about the small balls or rollers, and the latter can rotate about the outer bushing or holder and/or inner bushing or holder, and can also slide and/or roll along the guide tracks. A support is brought into interaction with the inner bushing or holder. The outer surface of the outer bushing or holder is partially placed outside the borders of the lateral surface of the body of the base of the face of the clock. According to the method of making the mark for the face of the clock, the body of the mark is formed by an outer bushing or holder with an outer surface, guide track and an end-to-end cavity, an inner bushing or holder with a guide track and an end-to-end cavity, and small balls or rollers. The inner bushing or holder is put into the end-to-end cavity of the outer bushing or holder coaxially with formation of a coaxial cavity. Guide tracks are situated opposite each other. The outer bushing or holder and the inner bushing or holder are movably attached to each other by the small balls or rollers, which are put into the coaxial cavity and on the guide tracks. At least the outer bushing or holder can rotate about the small balls or rollers, and the latter can rotate about the outer bushing or holder and/or inner bushing or holder, and can also slide and/or roll along the guide tracks.
