PRODUCTION METHOD OF RECONSTITUTED TEA Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A23F3/40 

FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: wild camomile flowers are sequentially extracted by liquid carbon dioxide and drinking water with obtaining CO₂-miscella and water extract. Tea production refuses are mixed with non-polar liquified gas. They are extracted and minced along with periodic depressurisation of extraction mixture below extragent heavy vapours pressure at extraction temperature. Extract and extraction cake are separated. The latter is dissolved in water solution of edible acid. Calciferous or magnesium salt of carbonic acid and water extract of wild camomile flowers is added to suspension. Then it is formed, dried till residual humidity 13-15%, cut, impregnated with gas-liquid extract of wild camomile flowers and previously separated miscella with simultaneous pressure boost. After that depressurisation till atmosphere pressure with simultaneous freezing of absorbed carbon dioxide and its subliming with obtaining of end product are performed.

EFFECT: production of reconstituted tea out of tea production refuses with complete usage of mentioned refuses.
