PRODUCTION METHOD OF RECONSTITUTED TEA Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A23F3/00

Abstract RU 2364119 C1

FIELD: food products.

SUBSTANCE: willowherb is sequentially extracted with liquid carbon dioxide and drinking water to obtain CO2-miscella and aqueous extract. Tea production waste is mixed with non-polar liquified gas, extracted and minced along with periodic depressurisation of extraction mixture below extracting agent vapour pressure at extraction temperature. Extract and extraction cake are separated. Extraction cake is suspended in water solution of edible acid; carbonic acid calcium and magnesium salt and water extract of willowherb are entered into suspension. Then it is moulded, dried to residual humidity 13-15%, cut, impregnated with CO2-miscella of willowherb and gas-liquid extract of tea waste with simultaneous pressure boost. It is followed by depressurisation to atmosphere pressure with simultaneous freezing of absorbed carbon dioxide and subliming it with obtaining end product.

EFFECT: invention lets obtain product from tea preparation waste.
