FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device accommodates a bed plate, cartridges mounted therein and provided with skewed driven rollers, a cartridge transfer mechanism, a workpiece centring mechanism, its lever drive comprising a pneumatic actuator and pivotally interconnected discharge lever and swing lever. Calibration and precise centring of workpieces of any length thereafter supplied by an axis of rolling are ensured by that a body of the centring mechanism is provided with two vertical plates rigidly interconnected by a shaft whereto the discharge lever is attached, and an auxiliary axis behind the shaft along and above the rolling. The lever is slotted for the auxiliary axis on the circular arc centred in the shaft axis. The lateral face of the swing lever is ledged to support a lower edge of the discharge lever. A rod of the pneumatic actuator is attached to a pivot lever interconnection. The levers make the angle 144-160°, while the arch is 36-40°.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of centring pocket in front face of the workpiece of any length.
