SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy particularly dealing with cast iron compositions. Ratio of the cast iron chemical components (wt %) is as follows: %: carbon - 3.0-3.6%; silica - 3.0-3.6%; manganese - 0.4-0.6%; molybdenum - 0.1-0.2%; copper - 1.4-1.8%; cerium - 0.12-0.16%; zirconium - 0.05-0.09%; aluminium - 0.8-1.2%; silver - 0.05-0.09%; iron - balance.
EFFECT: invention utilisation enables enhanced thermal resistance of cast iron.
