FIELD: technological processes, metal working.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to metal forming, in particular, to production of cold-bent section bars. Serially in passes strip galvanised billet elements of certain thickness are bent by rollers of profile-bending machine with specified angles and radiuses of bend. Simultaneously with upward bending of its edge elements that create side walls of section bar, near-edge sections of strip are bent to form section bar flanging. Besides, certain angles of walls bending are accepted per single pass in I…IV passes with their serial reduction in V…VIII passes. Starting from IV pass, inclined side elements of molded section are bent down to form section bar shelves, which take horizontal position in VII pass. Shaping of shelves flanging with double thickness ends in the last IX pass. Radiuses of bending between horizontal and side walls of section bar, between these walls and shelves, and also between shelves and flanging are accepted depending on thickness of strip billet in all passes.
EFFECT: improved quality of channels due to better geometry and reduction of rollers consumption.
