FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to manufacturing of flexible tubular layer of electric conductor from metal flow. Method consists in the fact that flow of melted metal is passed through crystalliser, is separated into specified number of highly viscous profiled elements in the form of helical spirals of specified direction and pitch, profiled elements are assembled into flexible tubular layer, which is sent for calibration and cooling. Device comprises body from heat resistant alloy with adjustable zone heating, vacuumised chamber installed at body inlet, cooling chamber. Cooling chamber is installed at body outlet and is equipped with vacuumised chamber and calibrating device. Besides, device comprises facilities for separation of metal flow into profiled elements.
EFFECT: production of electric conductor with required class of flexibility.
