FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to alloy structural steel grades used to manufacture articles by means of cold die forging. Steel contains carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, nickel, titanium, aluminium, molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium, boron, iron and unavoidable impurities with the following ratio of the components, wt %: carbon 0.08 - 0.18, silicon 0.05 - 0.40, manganese 0.20 - 0.80, chromium 0.50 -1.10, nickel 1.20 - 2.10, titanium 0.01 - 0.11, aluminium 0.002 - 0.11, molybdenum 0.20 maximum, tungsten 0.20 maximum, vanadium 0.08 maximum, boron 0.0005-0.005, iron and unavoidable impurities are the rest. After spheroidising annealing, it has a homogeneous ferrite pearlitic structure containing 70% granular pearlite minimum with hardness of 149 HB maximum.

EFFECT: improved mechanical and performance characteristics.
