FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method of metered feeding of fluid odorant into gas line comprises intermittent filling of gauge vessel, via forced feed, and discharging it into gas line by generating gas pressure pulse at gauge vessel top via pressurisation of its gas cushion from high-pressure gas source and discharging aforesaid cushion into low-pressure gas recipient. Note here that high-pressure gas line represents both aforesaid high-pressure lines. Note also that gas cushion is discharged into gas recipient with its pressure lower than that of liquid odorant consumer gas line.
