FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designs of plants designed to convert airflow energy onto electric power. Proposed windmill comprises aerodynamic drive and electric generator and incorporates additional, second electric generator. Birotary electric generators represent cylindrical housing with inner and outer rotors, installed inside and outside the housing. The said rotors are coupled by reduction gear that allows opposite rotation of aforesaid rotors. Aerodynamic drive represents flat blades fitted radially on outer rotor external surfaces of both generators. Note that the latter are accommodated inside cylindrical casings that share common inlet and outlet branch pipes. Note also that generator inner spaces are sealed and filled with liquid lubricant.
EFFECT: increased power output, reduced overall sizes.
