FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the analytical chemistry with respect to titrimetric analysis of the etching solution used in printed circuit boards production. The method includes sample titration with barium chloride water-alcohol solution having pH 3.2-3.6 in presence of indicator (alizarine red S) and calculation of sulphate-ion content in g/dm3 according to formula: whereat V is the volume of 0.1 N barium chloride solution spent for titration, sm3; Vs is the volume of the sample taken for titration after dilution, sm3; 4.80308 is sulphate-ions amount (g) corresponding to 1 sm3 of 0.1 N barium chloride solution, g/sm3; P is dilution factor; k is correction factor to the barium chloride solution normality.

EFFECT: enhanced simplification, acceleration and reliability of the analysis.
