FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to sanitary equipment and can be used for performing sanitary and physiotherapeutic procedures. The diluting mixer for thermal wave massage device consists of a housing, hot and cold water inlets, a control handle and at least one contact pair including non-movable and movable parts with slots for water passage and having two degrees of freedom in possible movement relative to each other. Mixer consists of warm and cool water outlets, parts of the contact pair contact along flat, cylindrical or spherical surface, and slot configuration in non-movable and movable parts provides dependence of proportions between hot and cold water entering warm and cool water outlets on their position relative to each other. Possible offset of the movable part as per one degree of freedom determines the temperature difference of warm and cool water being discharged, and as per the other - their average temperature.
EFFECT: improving ergonomics of thermal wave massage devices, which results in the possibility of controlling all the main parametres of the procedure by means of only one control member - a handle.
