FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering, to relay protection of power transformer and may be used for fast blocking of differential protection in case of start-up current rushes, when there is access to measurement of voltage that generates short-circuit current and rush current. For this purpose specified voltage is memorised in memory circuit in dynamic mode, and is used to create typical copies of rush and short-circuit currents on simple elements - models, which are further together with current realisation of mode in the form of voltage on loading resistance of current measurement transformer are exposed to correlation processing and comparison.
EFFECT: improved efficiency.
