BIN DEVICE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B65D88/00

Abstract RU 2370425 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for storage and discharge of hard-running and bulk materials subjected to arch formation and caking, it is designed to controlled discharge of stored material from bulk bins, silo or similar tanks. Bin device includes vertical hollow body with upper part having charging port on the top thereof and lower part contracting downwards to central discharge port equipped with a gate, lower support framework whereon the body is fixed, upper framework attached rigidly outside to the upper part of the body, vertical screws, suspended to the upper framework outside the body, stack-mounted bin hopper installed in the upper part with outlet port inversed to discharge port and formed by several independent elements, gimbaled by upper parts with possibility to separate their lower parts by means of drive towards side walls of the body and return subsequently to initial position aiming at controlling hopper outlet area. Drive is made common for all the elements of bin hopper and includes drive frame suspended on screws able to make vertical reciprocating movements with the help of sprockets having central port with diametre and thread corresponding to threaded joint with screws, and connected with the said framework by bearings fixed to the edges of openings made therein, through which lower ends of screws are passed, reverse gear mounted on this framework and tractions gimbaled to the drive frame with one end passing through open end vertical penetrations made in side walls of the upper part of the body hinged to drive framework and with other end hinged to bin hopper elements. All sprockets are interlocked between themselves by ringed chain gear, and one sprocket is interlocked with drive reverse mechanism and is a drive sprocket. Design foresees possibility to rise and lower bin hopper inside the body.

EFFECT: efficiently controlled process of discharging material being stored in bin device and readjusting of the latter for storing and feeding materials with various bulk weight.
