FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: protective cover plate comprises protective element adjacent to door leaf and having openings for fixtures and central opening for cylinder mechanism. It has socket from plastic with openings for fixtures and decorative cover plate. Socket and decorative cover plate each have opening for cylinder mechanism. Protective element is installed on socket. Socket and decorative cover plate have provision for their connection. Decorative cover plate is arranged as cup-like, and connecting facilities are arranged in the form of annular groove on internal surface of cover plate and elastic hooks on socket. Socket has cavity shaped as protective element, and protective element is installed in this cavity.

EFFECT: creation of protective cover plate of lock cylinder mechanism installed inside room and providing for its higher burglary protection with reduction of costs and increase of esthetic parametres.
