SUBSTANCE: device for food grating contains rotating drum, which is brought into rotary motion by handle, which includes torsion shaft, whose end is made with possibility of inconnection to revolving drum. Drum is placed in semi-cylindrical tray. Tray is made on support unit. Unit of closing is installed with possibility of turning on said support unit and can take either operation position, in which said unit blocks and locks drum in said tray, or folded back position, in which drum is free. Support unit and unit of closing contain, each, at least one holding element, through which in axial direction handle torsion shift is introduced in case, when said handle is connected to said drum.
EFFECT: claimed is device for food grating.
