SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dishwashing machine and method of its exploitation. Dishwashing machine contains washing chamber, ozone generator and devices for washing dishes with detergent solution. Dishwashing machine is equipped with storage device for ozone and/or hydroxyl radicals, which is connected with washing chamber with possibility of air passing through it. Storage device serves, on one hand, for ozone reception and/or hydroxyl radicals during their production or formation and, on the other hand, for discharge of ozone and/or hydroxyl radicals while performing "Drying" subprogram and/or during idle standing of dishwashing machine. Ozone generator is made in such a way that when the subprogram from washing program, in which dishes are subjected to treatment with detergent solution, ozone is produced, and said ozone is introduced in detergent solution. Storage device is formed by sorption column, which contains reversibly dehydradable material, for example zeolite. According to method of dishwashing machine exploitation its ventilator is applied in the period, when the subprogram from washing program, in which dishes are subjected to treatment with detergent solution, is not fulfilled, and in such way ozone and/or hydroxyl radicals are removed from storage device into washing chamber of dishwashing machine. Turning-on of ventilator is realised when machine is standing idle, preferably depending on opening and closing its door.

EFFECT: providing possibility of ozone and/or hydroxyl radicals introduction into washing chamber of machine at defined set moments in order to prevent unpleasant odor during long periods of machine idle standing and in improvement of hygienic characteristics inside washing chamber.
