FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: in protection method of turbine compressor against stalling and surging it is additionally measured air temperature behind compressor and gas temperature before combustion chamber and it is formed sum of inverse values of air temperatures at outlet and behind compressor and gas at inlet to combustion chamber with following interpolation of changing of this value and in case of excess by it of threshold valuation or excess of air pressure value behind compressor of corresponding threshold valuation it is formed presence signal of stalling and surging. Into device, implementing particular method there are additionally introduced sensor of air temperature behind the compressor and tandem to it the second functional generator, summator and interpolator, outlet of which is connected to inlet of the first threshold device, sensor of gas temperature before combustion chamber and tandem to it the third functional generator, outlet of which is connected to the second inlet of summator, the first functional generator, inlet of which is connected to outlet of air temperature sensor at inlet into compressor, and outlet - to the third outlet of summator, and also scheme "OR", the first passage of which is connected to outlet of the second threshold device, and the second outlet - to outlet of the first threshold device.

EFFECT: increasing of performance and reliability of protection of turbine compressor against stalling and surging.
