FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of radio communication and may be used for demodulation (DM) of amplitude-manipulated, and also amplitude-modulated (AM) signals. In method and device for demodulation, AM signal is sent to DM made of cascade-connected quadripole (QP), dipole non-linear element (NE), low pass filter (LPF), serially connected sectional capacitance and low frequency (LF) load With the help of NE, AM signal spectrum is decomposed into LF and high frequency (HF) components LPF is used to identify information LF signal, amplitude of which varies according to law of AM inlet signal amplitude variation. Sectional capacitance eliminates constant component, at the same time QP and LPF, a HF load is connected. Dipole NE is connected between source of radio frequency AM signals and QP into transverse circuit QP is made of number of reactive dipoles, at least two. Parametre values of QP are selected from condition of provision of required depth of amplitude modulation for AM signal on HF load.

EFFECT: provision of specified AM depth of received AM signal, which increases noise immunity
