FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolytic metallurgy field. Method of high-speed electrotinning of metallic strip includes plating in electrolytic cell of tinned coating on strip by means of anodic dissolution in electrolyte of directed to strip tin anodes in the form of anode bins with tin fractions and sedimentation of anode-dissolved tin on strip operating as cathode, herewith tin is fed into anode bin in the form of fractions, part of tin anodes are masked using regulated end cover-ups which are located and directed depending on width of strip and/or distribution of thickness of tinned coating, herewith plating of tinned coating is implemented at movement of strip downwards and upwards.
EFFECT: minimisation of harmful, heavy, inappropriate work, increasing of evenness of tinned coating by thickness and reduction of wastes flows for regeneration.
