FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in using parachute systems. Aircraft is furnished with several independent self-operating jettisonable parachute systems and one-, two-, three- and four-seat blocks equipped with self-closing covers. Parachute systems are arranged both symmetrically on aircraft floor and as units of seat blocks provided with parachute control mechanisms. Aircraft separation in air is performed in a certain sequence, i.e. first, fuel is jettisoned, then wings are detached, and, thereafter, wings are separated. Now, roof above passengers' seats is detached and parachute systems arranged along sides are jettisoned. Seat cover front part is made transparent. Seat is mounted pivoted to rotate about its axis of symmetry through, at least, 180° and to move back and forward, to the left and right. It is also furnished with parachute control mechanism.
EFFECT: higher probability of saving passengers, simplified system and ease of manufacture.
