FIELD: physics; acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroacoustics and can be used for protecting water-catchment plants. A sensitive element is made in form of sections of a piezoelectric cable with loads on one end suspended at the opposite end in fixing points of a radio frequency cable. Using matching devices, through a load resistor, the second terminal of the power supply is connected to the shielding earthed sheath of a coaxial radio frequency cable. Connections are sealed.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity and reliability of detecting trespassing, reduced false alarm probability.
