FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to process tool of three-rolled mill for helical rolling. Process tool of three-rolled mill for helical rolling includes working rolls containing tandem by length of barrel section of capture with conical entrance and several crimping cones and calibrating section. Angles of slope of generatrix of inlet and crimping cones of capture section to rolling axis increase from basis up to top, herewith averaged approximated capture angle αaverage of these angles is in the range 10-14° and is defined by dependence:
where: ℓi - length of i-cone, αi - angle of slope of generatrix of i -cone to rolling axis.
EFFECT: invention provides stable capture of blank and well conditions of rolling process flow at any specified process conditions of values of capture.
