FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for production of double press-jacquard jersey includes making loops of face side according to pattern, and stitches and loops of reverse side are created according to order of threads filling into sets of feed stations, which are permanent, and whenever colours of adjacent wales in face and reverse sides match, stitch is knitted on reverse side, which is the next one according to order of threads filling into sets of feed stations, at the same time loop is knitted with the following colour, which is the next one by order of colours relative to colour of reverse side, in case it matches colour of face side stitch, loop is knitted with the following colour, which does not match colour of reverse side stitch.
EFFECT: expanded assortment of produced items.
