SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering, specifically to an automated system for verifying identification data of citizens when processing and issuing bio-passports. An automated workstation has a module for selecting the reference address of a form in a server database, a module for identifying verified forms, a module for selecting sampling borders of verified forms in the server database. The automated workstation also has a module for creating addresses for reading verified forms, a module for setting operation modes, a module for identifying passport data and a module for identifying chip data.
EFFECT: increased reliability and faster operation of the automated workstation through comparison of passport, chip and form data in real time.
