FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: instrument is actuated into rotation at a rate directly proportional to value of fillet radiuses of treated edge of point of blade and actuated into contact to edge. It is implemented oscillation of blade relative to longitudinal axis, passing through centers of fillet radiuses of edge of point, with frequency, which is changed directly proportional to fillet radiuses values of edge of point. Instrument is displaced lengthwise edge of point at a rate inversely proportional of values of its fillet radiuses.
EFFECT: there is increased shaping accuracy of variable-profile of fillet of edge of point of blade and provided minimal removing of material at treatment, providing to round an edge by radius 0,04 mm.
