FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method of fresh water extraction in areas of oceans and seas, adjoining to continental regions and islands with deficiency of fresh water includes thermal decomposition of submerged gas-hydrates of carbonic acid, or hydrogen sulphide, or hydrocarbons, extracted from earth interior by direct action on its roof by natural near-surface more warm, than near-bottom, sea water by means of its pumping through lowering from side of floating device up to bottom pipe. Additionally fresh water, less consistent, than salt sea water, floats upward and is collected inside installed at sea bottom and allowing outlet gas valve of convex catcher, and sea water is displaced from catcher of fresh water through perforation in bottom part of catcher wall. Then it is sucked off fresh water from catcher on board of floating device through connected to catcher hose.
EFFECT: increasing of safety and efficiency of method.
